We went to Ft. Lauderdale for our summer vacation this year.
Beanie has been wanting to go to the beach and its been a while since our last beach vacation which was in Spring 2017. I had visited Ft.Lauderdale many years ago and stayed at a nice hotel right on the beach with access to shops and restaurants. I decided we would go there so we don't need to drive anywhere and can cross the street to the ocean. My Mom came with us.
I paid extra for an ocean view and Beanie's face when I opened the blinds was PRICELESS!! She had a lovely time and basically we went from beach to swimming pool to beach all the days were were there :-)
